Why do I have to apply?
Inside of The Collective, we are creating a safe, welcoming place to share our struggles, learn, and grow together. In order to do that effectively, we need to all agree to the same values and guidelines, which is what we are capturing through the application process.
Yes, it is an extra step or two, but we know our members appreciate knowing that everyone in The Collective has the same agreement and understanding - and we hope you will too.
Is this like a Facebook or LinkedIn Group?
Nope. The Collective is housed in a separate, secure platform. We designed this to be a special space away from the noise of other social media platforms, where you can pop in and not be distracted by whatever drama might be happening in your feed.
What are the opportunities for networking?
We absolutely want you to get to know the other amazing women in The Collective! You can search by profession, by region, and by interests to find people you’d like to connect with.
This is a No Selling Zone! If you come in and start pitching your services to people, we’ll ask you nicely to leave. We do have one space specifically designed for Networking, where you are welcome to ask for help finding contacts, promote your company events, etc. But, no creeping into Chat and selling is allowed. Plus, that’s just gross.
What is the Monthly Masterclass like?
Each class is designed to be a highly interactive session where you will spend most of your time interacting with and learning from the other attendees. We will have pros in their field join us to teach, equip and challenge you with what you need to successfully master the skill.
No one needs another session full of talking heads, so we will be focused on application and interaction. Oh, and we’re likely to have a ton of laughs along the way!
How can I be sure I’m learning about the topics I’m interested in?
One of the best things about The Collective is the opportunity to help shape what we’re talking about! Several times a year, we will pop in with a survey to understand what topics you’d like to discuss. This will range from professional to personal and everything in between. You will always have the opportunity to add in new ideas!
And, you have the ability to open a Topic discussion about an idea as well. See what others have to share and find others who are interested too!
I’m not in leadership today, is this still for me?
Leaders come in many forms, not all of them defined by title. If you are interested in growing your professional and personal skills as a part of your path, we’d love to have you. Inside of The Collective, we have spaces for Executives, Emerging Leaders, and Individual Contributors.
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that sometimes things change and you might need to move on. You may cancel anytime after the first three months by ending your subscription in your PayPal account. You will have service through the end of that month. No refunds are available.
